A Kiwanis Kids “student-led” school and community service program that operates under elementary school regulations and draws its members from the student body. K-Kids clubs provide elementary school students with their first opportunity to learn about organizing projects that help others. Members develop basic leadership skills and strong moral character. Once a young person fully understands the concept of learning by helping others, he or she begins to grow as a leader. The Kiwanis Advisor supports youth club members and the faculty advisor in all their endeavors and also serves as the liaison between the sponsoring Kiwanis club, the youth club’s faculty advisor, and school administrators.
